BASIC SOCKS WITH A TWIST
I love basic (vanilla) socks with a stockinette stitch so much. It does justice to the colors, gradiants of stripes in the yarn. In this instruction I share my pattern for basic socks. I also give you some inspiration to spice them up a bit by adding some twist. For instance a small edge, cuff, heel or toe in contrast colors, that make your socks super personal! I wish you lots of knitting fun!

YARN
You can use any 4 ply sock yarn with a gauge of 30 stitches x 42 rows, 10 x 10. One ball or skein of 100 grams will be more than enough to knit any size. When you also want to add some twists, you need extra sockyarn (scraps/ lefovers will do) in contrast/solid colors.

GAUGE
This pattern is for EU size 36-45, UK 3.0-10.0. You can knit it with any sock yarn with a gauge of 30 stitches x 42 rows, 10 x 10. See instructions in the pattern. Needles: 2,5 mm / US 1,5
