Let’s knit a basic wide ribbed sweater together for free !
My first pattern ever!

This sweater has a simple wide rib design on both body and sleeves.

It is worked flat from bottom to top for the front and back. The sleeves and collar are knit in the round from the picked-up body stitches.

The finished sweater is 55cm/21.6in wide by 60cm/23.6in high for the body and 44cm/17.3in for the sleeves.
Intructions are provided to adapt it for smaller or bigger sizes or help you reproduce any design you see.

For the pictured model, I used one strand of alpaca.

To knit it, you’ll need a set of circular and double-pointed needles 3 mm/US3 and 3.5 mm/US4 and around 7 balls of alpaca.
