The main pattern is for a large (22” to 25”(55 to 63cm)) hat with instructions at the bottom for a 17” to 21”(43 to 53cm) smaller version.

Materials needed:

• 4mm 16” circular needle
• Five 4mm double pointed needles
• Stitch counter
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker(s)
• Approx 170 yrds of worsted weight yarn (I used Caron soft grey worsted weight yarn)

Stitches used in pattern:

• knit
• purl
• ssk
• k2tog

Also, I feel it’s best to note that this is the first pattern I’ve wrote, so apologies if any of it’s confusing. I did write it with beginning knitters in mind.
