Here is a basic scarf pattern perfect for beginners who have mastered the basic stitches. Can be made to any size and in any wool you wish with the right sized hook.

I used Stylecraft Special DK yarn with either 4.5mm or 5mm hooks. This produces a thick and cosy scarf but if you desire a lighter scarf then use finer yarn and/or a larger hook.
