Description

This cardigan is combination of basic lines with details in contrast color. It is perfect for a man, who wants to wear basic cardigan with a touch of wild contrast color. Level of wildness can be easily adapted with contrast color.
Cardigan is knitted from top down with set-in sleeves. Neck and front bands are knitted last at one time.
Measures are based on portly (sturdy) body type E, when men’s clothing measurement categories are from B to F.
You need two colors:
• MC, main color. This is grey in pictures.
• CC, contrast color. This is orange in pictures.
Suggestions for changing appearance (and level of wildness):
• Stripes in body and sleeves, with contrast color or different shade of main color
• Monochrome cardigan
Yarn used in pictures to this pattern is Donegal merino, which is soft single ply merino with some speckles. Flexible cardigan feels soft and texture looks cozy with irregular texture yarn.
You can easily change the feeling and appearance of this basic cardigan by changing the yarn.

8 sizes (from s to 5XL) for busts from bust sizes from 112cm (44inch) to 184cm (72.25inch).
Measures for each size as well as yarn consumption are in pattern. Select size primarily based on bust size with small ease.
Yarn consumption varies from 1560m (MC 1093m + CC 467m) to 2915m (MC 2042m + CC 873m)
