This hat was designed as part of my donation to our annual local hats for kids project. If you tried my Basketweave Beanie ---Wow! Was that back in 2013? --- this is different look for basketweave.

Again, the project only requires knit and purl stitches for the body of the hat, and decreases by knitting or purling 2 stitches together to form the crown of the hat.

NOTE: The striping in the sample hat shown in the photos is created by the long color changes in the Sweet Roll yarn. So no joining or splicing unless you choose to use more than one yarn.
