Size: using the indicated material, the basket will be about 4 in / 10 cm high and will have a diameter of about 6 in/ 15 cm

Material:
• Crochet hook size 4.5
• Cotton yarn (e.g. Schoeller & Stahl Record 210) in the colors red, white and green (82 yds / 1.75 oz or 90 m / 50 g) – you may, of course, also use any other type of yarn and crochet hook in matching size

Amount of yarn needed:
For the basket shown in the picture (diameter about 6 in/ 15 cm) I have used a total amount of about 120 g of yarn, which means two balls of red, half a ball of white and a small amount of green.

Difficulty Level: medium, basic knowledge of crochet techniques required, chart included for the outside pattern

Stitches/ techniques used:
chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, decrease, Magic Ring, changing color, working in spiral rounds and closed rounds, reverse single crochet (short description included), half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet (short description included), triple treble crochet (short description included), quadruple treble crochet (short description included), front post stitches (short description included)

Gauge:
4 inch x 4 inch = 17 hdc x 12 rows (10 x 10 cm)
Don’t worry if your gauge doesn’t match 100% here – that just means your basket might turn out slightly smaller or bigger than mine. The important thing is that you found a yarn you really like 
