Basket Rustico
You will receive a 9-page detailed description with step-by-step photos on how to make this beautiful rustic basket. It is variable in size, meaning you can make it as big as you like. As materials you can use the wool scraps of your favorite yarns from past needlework projects, because the basket is multi-threaded. Each basket thus gets its own look.
It is stable and true to shape thanks to a built-in plastic clothesline that invisibly spirals along. It is very easy to crochet, because we crochet only solid stitches always around. Anyone can do this. Therefore, this tutorial is also very suitable for crochet beginners.
Material:
- 3 to 4 different yarns of your choice. I used: 1.8oz (50g) “Opal” 4-ply sock wool, color 7475, 5.5 oz (150g) “Aventica” by Schachenmayr, color 82 and 9oz (250g) “Twister Sport 500”, color 16
- Crochet hook size 6
- plastic clothesline (approx. 65feet (20meters) long), color transparent or matching your yarn colors
- darning needle, scissors, tape
I wish you a lot of fun with this project and a beautiful result.
