Special Stitch Instructions:
Rib - Work one row of htr in back loop only or front loop only, in alternating rows
Crocheting in the back loop only gives a ridge on the front of the stitch. Similarly crocheting in the front loop only gives a ridge on the front of the stitch.
Basket-weave stitch - work 4 stitches in back post only then 4 stitches in front post only, alternating each row to give a basket weave effect
Crocheting Front/Back Post half treble means doing a half treble stitch around the half treble from the previous row, either from the front or the back, rather than in the top of the stitch. It makes a ridge in much the same way as blo and flo do.
