Basket Weave Mosaic Crochet Scarf
Mosaic crochet style scarf with a fringe at each end - Mosaic Crochet looks really difficult but it is actually so easy to do and the results are incredible
This pattern has easy to follow instructions and is suitable for any crocheter who is able to do the UK double crochet (US single crochet) and UK treble crochet (US double crochet) stitches as well as how to chain and slip stitch
You can adjust the size and could even make it into a blanket or afgan if you keep repeating the pattern (details are written in the pattern of how to do this)
It takes just 2 balls of 100g DK yarn and a 5mm crochet hook (if you are a very loose hooker go down to a 4.5mm hook) per scarf
There aren’t even any ends to sew in as they become the fringe… Winner Winner!
The effects are even more amazing when you use two contrasting colours and/or bright variegated yarn with black
There are now lots of tutorials on U Tube on Mosaic Crochet if you need any more help
This pattern takes you row by row through the full scarf
