This pattern makes a blanket that is super snuggly. It’s thicker than most other patterns, even though it uses just one strand of yarn. It’s quick to work up too, once you get the hang of working around the posts. This took me a little while to get used to, but hang in there. If I figured it out, you can too!

Since Comfort for Critters often uses leftover yarn to make our pet blankets, I thought I’d make this one using a partial skein. When I ran out (about halfway through) I switched to another, contrasting color and then created a border that flip-flopped the colors. I really like the unique results. Be sure to experiment with your blankets too!
