Basketweave Mason Jar Vase
This crochet pattern is for the advanced beginner interested in adding some upcycled vase options to their decor. The basketweave adds a modern farmhouse twist to any household, and looks great with a variety of fresh flowers cut from your garden.
This is a quick pattern to cover a standard mouth mason jar, between 28 oz and 32 oz. I’ve used the pattern to cover Ball brand, Kerr brand and Atlas brand, as well as upcycled pasta jars. The pattern is worked in the round (starting with a magic circle) from the bottom up. The basketweave stitch is introduced, and photos are included in the instructions.
As always, I love to help people learn new techniques and make crochet items for their home. Please contact me with any questions you may have! I love to help you learn crochet.
