Pattern for the construction of the basketweave purse and inside liner.

Purse features a vinyl bottom, adjustable strap, outside pocket, zipper closure, fabric inside liner, and zippered inside pocket.

Vinyl bottom can be excluded by stitching closed the crocheted bag bottom, but size will be about 2” shorter.

Crochet stitches used: ch, foundation dc (optional), sc, hdc, dc
Machine stitches used: straight, zigzag

Appx 650 yards 3/sport weight yarn
Small amount of contrast color (optional)
14” x 5” vinyl
2 sliding strap buckles (optional for adjustable strap)
14” zipper
7” zipper
1/2 yard woven fabric
Sewing threads to match the fabric, yarn, 14” zipper, and vinyl
