DESCRIPTION
This pattern is for the Bat Milestone Blanket. It is a whimsical blanket made using the C2C crochet technique and is offered in 3 different sizes. It can be customized by adding your name of choice. Charts and templates are included for all sizes. As a bonus, the pattern also includes cheat sheets for the C2C technique and a link to a “how to” YouTube video tutorial.

The blanket graphic is of a bat flying through a rainbow. Rainbows are universally considered to be a symbol of hope and new beginnings. The bat motif represents death of the old and rebirth and regeneration of the new. Putting these two graphics together told a perfect story of the mom to be that I gifted this blanket to.

OTHER PATTERNS IN THE BAT COLLECTION
In addition to the blanket, the Crochet Milestone Blocks can be used to capture your baby’s growth in a fun way. Place your child in the middle of the blanket with the bat wings on either side and use the blocks to time stamp the moment. BLANKET SIZES
The pattern includes 3 sizes:
Receiving: 40” W x 40” L (102 W x 102 L cm)
Toddler: 42” W x 52” L (107 W x 132 L cm)
Throw: 54” W x 66” L (137 W x 168 L cm) This size can have a name added to it.
