Overlay mosaic crochet pattern, inspired by batik cloth from Hawaii and Fiji. No special stitches, just SC and DC.

This pattern has 7 different designs that can be mixed/repeated as desired for smaller or bigger pieces, from a wall hanging to a bedspread. It also has no set repeat width, much like fabric, the designs can run off the edge so it is very versitile in that respect.

I don’t have an official guage or yardage since this can be any size, but my blanket was 165 stitches wide with 4/worsted yarn and 4.5mm hook, and ended up being 78”x52” (without border). That used about 3300 yards.
