This pattern was designed for a slow changing variegated thread, such as Alize Miss Batik. This kind of thread will not compete with the design. Of course, it can also be made with a single color thread for a more subtle look. The doily uses 22 g (1/2 ball) of Alize Miss Batik.

The following corrections have been made to the pattern: Rnd 5 now ends with ch 4, join to 1st sc.
Rnd 19 now begins with SL in ch-4 sp, begSh in same sp.
