A Batman or Batgirl hooded cape for the little superhero in your life. Designed as an additional layer of warmth which you can quickly pull over your child’s head, so you don’t have to worry about putting little arms into little sleeves.

There are 5 different size options from 1 month to 4 years. The length is designed to cover the bottom. The hood is quite stretchy depending on the yarn used. I used a machine washable acrylic yarn.

It starts with triangles individually knitted in garter stitch and then joined together. The cape section is knitted on a longer circular needle, and then joined in the round for the neck ribbing using a short circular needle. There is no seaming except for the 3 needle bind off at the top of the hood.
