DK version of the Assateague sweater pattern is finally here!

Baton Rouge follows the same structure as Assateague, except with only two colors instead of three, and with dk weight yarn instead of fingering weight yarn.

Worked from the top down, you will begin with eight wedges that include short row shaping in garter stitch and increases to form the yoke. After dividing the sleeves from the body, you will work each of these sections separately, all in stockinette except for the bottom edgings, which are in broken rib.

Choose your favorite two colors for this sweater, or a variety of colors for a rainbow-like appearance. With bracelet-length sleeves, this is a great transition garment for winter to spring, or spring to summer, or any combination of seasons, depending on where you live.

Note: this pattern is written for dk gauge, which is achieved either through dk weight yarn held SINGLE or with lace held DOUBLE. Whichever you prefer, go for it! Just check your gauge before starting.
