Bats in the Air
I love fall and Halloween! I think Halloween is my favorite holiday, maybe a tie with Christmas. The memories, picking out costumes, bonfires, decorating. Decorating is what truly brings the holidays into a home. I remember my grandmother having dish towels for every holiday and occasion. I adored the ones with the special edgings that she made, whether they made a picture or just a design which really added that special feeling. I wanted to bring this tradition back of the filet crochet towel edgings. It has been near impossible to find any patterns, so I decided to create my own.
The pattern is done with #10 cotton thread and an inexpensive dish towel. The pattern is written to show the meshes and an imposed image to assist in this. Gauge is based on 5 blocks across, 16 stitches by 4 rows in a one inch square. The yardage is not accurate due to options listed in the pattern.
This is my original work. You may use for personal use, gifting or to make and sell. Please give proper credit for this and do not resell this pattern.

Thanks so much and enjoy!
