Batten Slipper Sock | Worsted
This is the Worsted Weight version of the Batten Slipper Sock, originally designed in DK Weight. The first image shows both versions for comparison, the Worsted Weight is on the left (the light grey)
ABOUT
A cozy slipper sock designed to be easy to pull on and off with a stretchy ribbed heel. This flexibility allows you to comfortably wear these slippers over socks or on their own. The cuffs can be worn up or folded down. The name for this pattern comes from the expression batten down the hatches, which evokes memories of cold winter nights snuggled up inside with all the wool garments available. These slippers are also the perfect pair to take with you when visiting friends and family over the colder months when you don’t have your home slippers with you. This pattern is the Worsted Weight version, the original was designed in DK.
