Working bottom up, we will create the body of the sweater in rounds, we will then increase to arm width, work in 2 separate panels to create armholes, and whipstitch for the neck opening.

Material:
Any 3 weight yarn, or a light 4 weight
I Used Lion Brand Comfy Cotton
5mm and 6mm hooks used
2 stitch markers
Stitches used:
CH - Chain
DC - double crochet
HDC - half double crochet
SS - slip stitch
BLOSC - Back loop only single crochet
SC - Single crochet
Special Stitches:
Vst - dc-ch1-dc in same stitch

GAUGE: with 5mm hook
15 BLOSC (3.5in) x 14 rows (4in)
Work waistband pattern for 16 rows.
Note, gauge does not need to be exact, just close. The band is expandable and stretchy. Pattern has positive ease.

Sizing based off of HIP measurement. ** Band will be smaller than hip sizing

Small (4/5) - 24 inch hip - 450 yds
Medium (6/7) - 27 inch hip - 500 yds
Large (8/10) - 30 inches - 600 yds
X Large (12/14) - 33 inch hip - 650 yds
