DESCRIPTION
The Bavarian stitch uses a combination of basic crochet stitches to create an outstanding effect similar to mosaic tiles. This pattern might look complicated at first, but after you complete rounds 1-4 you’ll understand how it works. The pattern includes step-by-step pictures for each round to help you better visualize the stitches.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Trivet: approx. 12 by 12 inches (30 by 30 cm)
Coaster: approx. 6 by 6 inches (15 by 15 cm)

MATERIALS
• Yarn: 350 yds or 320 m of any DK weight yarn.
• Hook: 3 mm.
• Notions: Scissors, darning needle, stitch marker.
