Bavarian Folk Booties
A gorgeous new pattern that will delight all lovers of cute booties !
This pattern makes seamless booties which have a superior look and comfort, no seams to do.
The built in tongue and the laces ensure you can adjust them for a snug fit over socks or other layers.
Cuff can be folded up or down. Try knitting these in different colour combinations to suit both boys and girls.
I grew up wearing lots of traditional hand knitted accessories. I still love the all over cable patterns used in Bavarian Folk knitting. Here I tried to recreate that look, combining an easy all over inverted cable rib with a traditional contrast band of garter stitch.
Pattern comes in threes sizes:0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months
You will need:50 g 4 ply main colour yarn 25 g 4 ply contrast colour yarn
Set of 5 DPN knitting needles size 2,25 mm or US 1, long circular knitting needle of same size (optional)
Pattern is Copyrighted and intended for personal use.
