Bavarian Twist Short-Row Cap
This crisply textured cap is knitted sideways, using short rows to shape the crown. It has a Bavarian twist stitch cable around the side of the cap, and a garter stitch border at the lower edge. The cap is soft and warm, knitted in Cascade Cash Vero. When the body of the cap is knitted, the live stitches of the last row are grafted in pattern to the first row of knitting. Complete, photo-illustrated instructions for this are included in the pattern’s Technique Feature.
The pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
In addition to 2 balls of Cash Vero and Size 8 needles, a yarn needle, cable needle, and a safety pin-type stitch marker will be needed for this pattern.
