This light and airy cloche style hat will help protect your unruly tresses from the chilly sea breeze. The sweet little brim is long enough to shade your eyes, or fold up for some vintage flair. The pattern includes instructions to make a stunning removable leather braided hat band.

You’ll need one skein of worsted weight yarn. I chose Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton! but any worsted weight will do. I used approximately 160 yards for the larger size.

To make the leather hat band you will need 5 yards of suede cord, a sturdy needle and thread, and about 8 inches of elastic tape.
