Bay Street Scarf
Worsted weight yarn is worked into a gorgeous tight stitch pattern to make this scarf pure luxury for any man - or woman! The stitch definition is superb so you really get the full force of the texture worked into this scarf. And the stitches are worked tightly enough to give this scarf the feel of a seamless piece of fabric. No holes! Also, the men will enjoy the great body to this scarf which means that it will not slouch and bunch on him! Be warned though, as soon as you get done with his… you’ll end up making one for you too!
I used a baby llama yarn that is now discontinued - which is why I didn’t put it in the yarn section. But if anyone has it on hand… the photos are worked in Southwest Trading Company Baby Llama Luxury and I used exactly 4 skeins (which are 109 yds each).
I have since worked it in several other worsted weight yarns - my favorites are nice smooth yarns so that you really get the great stitch definition.
This pattern is also easily adjusted to other sizes - I have made it for my four year old too! :)
