Bayshore Shawl Redux
With a loose gauge and only having 42 rows, this shawl works up fast! And its substantial size gives a dramatic effect when worn. I’ve added tassels to the 3 points of the shawl the main color and coordinating color to wrap around the tops of the tassels. This is optional, but it does serve to give extra weight helping to keep the shawl wrapped and hanging down instead of billowing out.
Wet blocking is recommended for this shawl. Don’t be afraid to pull the shawl into a nice triangle and pin down to dry. When stitches are worked as loosely as in this design they tend to look somewhat jumbled and messy until you wash and block out the stitches to make them smooth and even. So don’t get frustrated if you see “bubbles” or “lumps” as you’re crocheting.
