Happy New Year!

I wanted to share my chart for double-knitting or fair-isle/stranded knitting.

It’s just a chart for an 80 stitch hat with the colour and embroidery marked on it. No written instructions or explanation, just a chart. I have saved it both all on one page and slightly larger over 2 pages.

Size can be adjusted by changing needle size/yarn size.

I double-knit worsted yarns with 4.0mm needles and then embroidered with a smaller weight yarn.

The embellishing takes longer than the knitting, just so you know.

I have more notes in my projects about the sticky-out bits.
(Didn’t know how to include this in the chart.)

My inspiration was Carissa Browning’s Pattern which I have made several times.
I think what I did is different enough (stitch count/decreases/colourwork/embroidery markings) that I can add it to the database, but I wanted to give her credit for what I know about droid beanies.
