When you’re a dancer, finding the perfect leg warmers can sometimes feel like finding a needle in a haystack. They’re too thick, too thin, too long, or not long enough. Hopefully, these fit just right.

Knit from a single skein of sock yarn, they cover from the ankle to the knee with plenty of stretch in the rib bands to stay put.

To extend the life of the leg warmers, I used a high nylon content yarn, you’ll want to do the same, especially if you tend to put your leg warmers over your heels.

No need to be a ballerina to wear leg warmers either! They look great peeking out of boots.

These leg warmers were designed for my sister, who is currently undergoing maintenance treatment for stage 4 breast cancer. Use the code “Baldballerina” for $1 off, but please check out her website and consider donating to her at: baldballerina.org

I tend to be a loose knitter, so make sure you swatch before you start.
