DIRECT PATTERN LINK

Two of my favorite sock designs are an allover basket weave pattern and a simple but elegant braided cable down the front of the cuff onto the top of the foot. I was trying to decide which of these to use when it occurred to me to combine them. No need to keep track of 2 separate patterns since they are both 8-row repeats. A match made in heaven – the basket weave and braid sock.

Size: This sock will fit an average to wide woman’s foot and a narrow to medium man’s foot. For a narrower or wider sock, go down or up one needle size.
