This pattern does not teach you how to crochet. It does give a very basic written primer into mosaic crochet with some pictures to explain where the different stitches goes, however I would not neccessarily reccommend this as your first mosaic crochet pattern due to its complexity. If you would like a video tutorial on mosaic crochet I recommend Alexis Sixel’s Youtube videos.

Please keep in mind that the chart does not display the border stitches. You must put a border stitch in the first stitch in a row, follow the chart, and then put a border stitch in the last stitch in the row. The pattern explains what a border stitch is.

I did not count the yardage, however if you buy two balls of red heart super saver jumbo you will have more than enough yarn.

Following the chart will produce an approximately 12 by 14 inch wall hanging.
