Description
A perfect Holiday gift, this decorative vase is worked from the top down. A simple 2x2 color patterning encircles the top and bottom of the vase, while the center panel contains a text message: Be, Hope, Imagine surrounded by the time honored X’s and O’s of warm wishes.

Materials:
One 5 oz Lion Brand 100% cotton worsted weight ball, pink. 2.7 oz remain, 2.3 oz used
One 5 oz Lion Brand 100% cotton worsted weight ball, white. 4.3 oz remain, 0.7 oz used
US size 4 needles, either double pointed needles or two 16“ circulars
Yarn or tapestry needle

Notes:
• This vase is worked from the top down.
• If you will be using circular needles, you can start with just one set and move to two circulars when the item gets too small or too large for one set-- or knit the entire item using the two circulars method. If using double pointed needles, use them throughout or switch to circulars as needed.
• Instructions are given for the vase shaping. Notes on color patterning are included, actual message can be altered by the knitter
