APPROXIMATE SIZE
• 21”/52.5 cm circumference at top
• 25”/62.5 cm circumference at bottom
• 8”/20 cm height

YARN
Choose a heavy CYC #4 or light CYC #5 yarn.

• Self-striping sample uses Berroco Wizard
(85% Wool, 15% Nylon, 262 yds/240 m per 100 g); approximately 146 yds/133.5 m in color 2951 Jasper.

• Solid color sample uses Jody Long Rovesoft
(50% Peruvian Alpaca, 45% Acrylic, 5% Highland Wool; 197 yds/180 m per 100 g); approximately 131 yds/120 m in color #002 Ecru.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
• US 9/5.5 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
• 12 Stitch Markers, including one unique for beginning of round
• Darning Needle

GAUGE
3 8-stitch repeats by 12 4-round repeats
(24 stitches by 48 rounds) = 6.25”/15.5 cm
worked in pattern in the round, after blocking.

Note: Use a needle that produces a blocked fabric that you like the look and drape of. Keep in mind that variance in gauge will also affect the amount of yarn used as well as the overall size of your cowl.
