This hat was inspired by yarn I had that reminded me of the colors of conversation hearts. First I designed the hat then embroidered the conversation hearts onto the hat. The yarn I used for the original hat is a hand spun yarn I had and is not listed in ravelry.

This hat looks amazing without any embroidery for a hat to wear for the entire winter season! I used the suggested yarns to show how it looks made in a variety of yarn. This is a great pattern to show off variegated or hand spun yarn! A Pom Pom is strongly recommended!
