Valentines Day is coming up and I felt the need to design a heart! This heart can be used as a coaster, can be stuck to a card or appliqued or even used as a bunting.

You will love this heart! Quick and easy to make, pretty and a must have for valentines day!

I made this using Paintbox Simply DK Cotton using a 4mm hook.

I have written the pattern in such a way that you don’t need to count stitches after the first round which makes it even easier to follow!

Suitable for advanced beginners or intermediates and uses special stitches of 2 double crochet (treble) together. All other stitches are your basic stitches.

As always is includes both US and UK terms separated out so it is easier to follow.

Each heart measures approx 10cm wide and long using the hook and yarn as made.
