Be Strong is a two-color, boomerang shaped shawl created for fingering/sport weight yarns. Sections of plain garter stitch alternate with mosaic sections in a garter background, making it an engaging, but relaxing knit.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Knit
Increasing (knit into the front and back, Yarn Over)
Decreasing (knit two together)
Knit through the back loop
Slipping stitches

GAUGE
23 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4“ in garter stitch, blocked

SIZE
Sample measures: 183 cm wingspan, 108 cm center depth / 72’’ wingspan, 42’’ center depth

YARN
Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy (100% Merino Superwash, 320 m / 350 yds per skein – 1 skein = 100g/3.53 ounces), sport weight
3 skeins in color A, shown in Blackberry
1 skein in color B, shown in Peony

For my sample I used 2.2 skeins of color A (704 m / 770 yds) and 0.7 skeins of color B (224 m / 245 yds).

Please note that yardage is an estimate and depends on knitting style, tension, yarn and needles used.

Be Strong è uno scialle in due colori, a forma di boomerang, creato per filati Fingering o Sport. Sezioni lavorate in semplice legaccio si alternano a sezioni a mosaico su base legaccio, rendendo questo scialle rilassante ma al tempo stesso interessante da realizzare.
