Most of the Boo Knits shawls have an air of romance and this is no exception. Be With You as a name was the starting point for the design of this beaded, crescent shaped, shawl. It has been designed to be worked in two colours each working with and yet complimenting the other - a perfect relationship. Though designed for two yarns, this shawl would look equally gorgeous in just one and can be worked in either lace weight or fingering weight yarn. The versatility of this shawl ensures that there will be a version that is just right for you and right for any occasion. Whether you wear jeans and a shirt or prefer a cocktail dress, this shawl can be made to be your perfect accessory.

As the pattern has been designed to be accommodating in which yarns you use, it becomes very adaptable in how and when you could wear it. The original has been knit in Solstice Yarns Osiris (Yarn A 400 m - plain and solid yarn) and Lichtfaden Silk Halo (Yarn B 320 m - slightly variegated and fuzzy) and makes a wonderfully cosy shawl for air-conditioned areas or cool evenings. Knit in two fingering weights would cool it down a little and knit in lace weight the shawl becomes a more delicate and lighter item. Compare the Silk/Mohair and Pure Silk Fingering to Pure Silk Lace (wonderful for dressing up) or Linen (fantastic for holidays and the beach) and you will see that each version becomes totally different!

I used just under 650 size 6 Miyuki seed beads though size 5 Miyuki triangle beads would be fantastic. You will also need a 1mm crochet hook or crotat hook to apply your beads, a 3.75mm (US5) circular needle - mine was 100cm long, a 4.5mm (US7) for the bind off, a darning needle to weave your ends in and blocking mats and pins. You will also find it useful to print your pattern on a colour printer.

Pattern includes charts and full written instructions with bead placement shown clearly in both sets of directions.
