ERRATA!! Thanks to Raveler sandra8981 for pointing this out!! There is an extra word in the “Increase Round” section that should not be there and is confusing. Delete the first “every” word so the pattern line for increase should be:

“K (1) rnd incr 9,(12,11) sts by m1 every 10(8,11) sts for a total of 103(115,123) sts.”

NOT

“K (1) rnd incr every 9(12,11) sts……

Materials:
Yarn: 1 skein each Dale Baby Ull (100%Superwash Merino,180 yds/50g) in dark grey(color#0083), and off-white(color#0020). Uses only about 1/2 skein of each. You could also use variegated yarns, for a different look.

Needles: 2 sets size 4(3.5mm) circ. needles 16-20”(40-50cm). You may be able to get away with 1 set for the large size until the crown; then 2 are needed or DPNs. Alternatively, you could use DPNs.

Other:
Stitch markers; tapestry needle.

Skill level: advanced beginner. Only stitches used are knit and purl, slipping with yarn in back, k2tog., and ktbl (knit thru the back loop).

Size: small will fit 18-19” (46-48cm) circumf.; medium – 20-22”(50-56cm), and large 23+”(58+cm).
Gauge: 24st and 44 rows/4”(10cm) in twisted St.st. on size 4(3.5mm) needles.
