This is a bright striped baby blanket with a small amount of texture. Simple and fun to knit, it reminded me of a beach ball, and I knew it would make any baby smile to have such a bright blanket.

250 grams of any DK weight cotton would work beautifully for this blanket, and I would love to see it knit up in a washable wool as well. The Donita’s gentle stripes echo the bolder stripes of the overall design, but it would look nice as a more subtle gradient or even in a solid color.
