Get ready for summer with this unique Beach Chair Buddy. Beach Chair buddy attaches to your chair and will hold your can or bottle of water. On the opposite side is a pocket for your suntan oil or phone. My husband and I often go to the beach and end up with our phone in the sand and the bottom of our cans dirty, so I created these out of necessity. They would also work on any chair with a handle. Pattern includes both the Flamingo and Shark patterns and is a written step by step tutorial with pictures. Makes up quickly using a double strand of worsted weight yarn and is quite sturdy.

Gauge: 4 sts in sc = 1”, 5 rows in sc = 1”

Flamingo:
Materials needed: Size I crochet hook, 3 ½ Pink worsted weight yarn. Scraps of Black, White and Light Pink worsted weight yarn. Opt. 2 small shank buttons for eyes or black embroidery thread. Scissors and darning needle. St markers.

Shark
Materials needed: Sizes I and 4 crochet hooks. 3 ½ oz. gray worsted weight yarn. Scraps of Black and Red worsted weight yarn. 2 black shank buttons or black yarn for eyes. White cotton crochet thread #10 bedspread weight. St markers.

Guage: In sc using a double strand of Red Heart Super Saver yarn and I hook, in sc: 3 sts = 1” 3 Rows = 1”
