Hello Spring! Too soon, too late maybe. Whatever season it is where you are and whether you are looking forward to it or remembering a fond day, we are going to the beach! We will learn about and collect some beach glass, make some squares, ride some waves and build sandcastles. I know what you’re thinking, beach, sand and water don’t sound like a good mix. We will be sitting in our loungers with a table beside us to keep the yarn safe. No worries! It’s not like we are going to surf and swim while crocheting, that would be silly

If you don’t like repetitive patterns, this one may not be as fun for you. There are 4 blocks made 4 times, with a fun wave join border for them and a sandcastle border. It is a great stash buster though and just because I used the beach theme and colors doesn’t mean you have to. I am really looking forward to seeing the colors everyone comes up with. Maybe yours is a backyard, walking path you like to go down, a childhood memory of a place you visited or your grandma’s kitchen. The colors can make it anything you want.

The CAL will run from March 27th to May 8th. Because this is an assembly required project, I want to get it finished before the weather gets hot. I don’t want anyone melting under the blanket to do the border.
