Beach to Club Cover-Up
I read an article about the new rules of sun safety that described new standards for covering up. Growing up, I think we always just threw a light colored t-shirt on; according to this article we’re now supposed to cover up with a tightly knit dark colored material. Which makes some sense. This got me thinking about a cabled pullover I knit this winter out of Shine; the drape is incredible! So I came up with this relatively tightly knit cover up that will still have incredible drape. Going beyond the tighter knit advice, the dark colors available in Shine makes this bathing suit cover-up eligible for the evening transition from the waterside to the clubs and even into the colder months! The flowing sleeves and very mildly fitted long body makes this great on its own poolside, and equally well suited with jeans or a skirt once the sun goes down. I can even see wearing this to a casual holiday gathering after the seasons change.
This pattern is VERY easily adjusted to ANY size, plus sizes included!!
