This bag can be made using 4 ply, DK or Aran weight yarn- instructions for the different weights are highlighted in different colours, you will need approximately 225g of your chosen yarn and a cotton based yarn will work best.
It is made of two squares which are joined at the corners and folded on the diagonal to make a flat base, then worked In the round and there are 4 different styles of edging to choose from.

Gauge when worked in sc (US) / dc (UK):
4ply (3mm hook) - 11 sts to 2 inches/ 5cm
DK (3.5mm hook) - 10 sts to 2 inches/ 5cm
Aran (4mm hook) - 9sts to 2 inches/ 5cm
