This started as the sleeve design for a sweater pattern and I quickly decided I needed a bolero version ASAP! This bolero is so easy to make with any yarn/needle combo, you’ll be wearing it in no time! I’ve knit it with bulky #6 yarn, chunky #5 yarn, as well as a double strand of #4 yarn. It’s easy to customize, easy to make, and easy to wear.

If you’ve been following my creative journey, I’m a little obsessed with dropping stitches and this piece is the epitome of why! It’s such a great layering piece for almost every season, and the vibe is “I love a big chunky sweater” when it’s not big chunky sweater season. Ever get cold in the movie theater or a diner? This is perfect when the air conditioning is jacked and you need a little something. It also dresses up a tee shirt like nobody’s business LOL! Just don’t come for me if the sleeves are too big, it’s the actual pattern name soooo….
P.S. It’s made to measure, and a super easy pattern so if you want something in a different yarn, just GO FOR IT!
