Beaded Bonnet (knit) with decorative border (crochet).
This is a really amazing cute adorable newborn prop!!
The beads AND the picot border make it really stand out and yet it’s so precious.
I mentioned the yarn I have used for my bonnets only on this Ravelry page, not in my written pattern. You can use any yarn that will give you the gauge given. (the gauge given is 5 stitches = 1”, most of the time you can get that with Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk with 4.5mm needles, but I am a tight knitter, so I always have to go up to needle size 5mm. This will give you an idea…)
I think Drops Melody would be a perfect yarn for this.
I have included a video about the crochet edge that will guide you step by step on how to make the decorative edge.

if you buy the DK version of this bonnet, a discount will be automatic applied, no coupon needed

NOTE that this bonnet is knitted BUT the border is crochet!!
