Beaded Clutch Bag
9 1/2” by 5 1/2”
You’ll need 2,256 Size 5/0 or E beads.
Heavy, iron-on interlining.
Lining fabric.
The medium-sized seed beads used for the bag are often called size 5, 5/0 or E. They can be colored glass with a shiny, silvery lining.
You can use any beads for your bag: perly, metallic, or clear glass. You could even work in stripes of different colors. Just make sure that you choose beads with a hole large enough to thread them onto the yarn.
It is practical to thread between 300 and 500 beads onthe yarn at a time. When you don’t have enough beads left to work a row, cut the yarn at the beginning of a row, add more beads, and rejoin the yarn. Never join in new yarn in the middle of the row.
