If you are new to using beads in your crochet project here is a cute pattern to get you started! This pattern is going to show you how to add beads to your crochet project. The yarn we will use to make this purse is the Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread Fashion # 3; we need two to complete our purse. This purse comes in only one size. The color of the beads used for this pattern is transparent red and the color of the Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread is natural but feel free to use whatever color you prefer. We use two different crochet hooks. In order to make this purse you are going to need five tubes of the size 6/0 seed beads. We use a plastic canvas for the bottom of the purse. For the strap of the purse we use a set of swivel hooks and d-rings. You will need a total of 1,228 beads to complete the purse. The lining and zipper for this purse is optional but I highly recommend it.
