We’ve loved working with designer Vanessa Mooncie to put together this beautiful pattern for you. As you can see, Vanessa has created a real showstopper of a design with this elegant, bejewelled elephant head, originally using the free beads and sequins included in issue 69 of Simply Crochet.

This is worked in separate pieces, which are then stitched together. Stuff firmly, but with care, so you end up with a smooth, lump-free shape.

Inspired by the beautiful colours of India, it’ll be a real talking point adorning your home and an heirloom piece for years to come.
