This fun hat is knitted in the round in either sport weight or worsted weight versions. Beads are placed on the yarn and added in as pattern progresses. This is an easy pattern to learn how to add beads within a knitted pattern.

Size 6 beads are needed for both versions, 117 beads for the sport weight as well as size 1 and 2, 16 inch circular needles, size 2 double pointed needles. Gauge using larger needles is 28 stitches equals 4 inches.

81 beads are needed for the worsted weight version as well as size 6 and 7, 16 inch circular needles and size 7 double point needles.
Gauge using larger needles is 20 stitches equals 4 inches.

One skein of yarn per hat is needled.
