PATTERN 

This is an easy project for a warm and thick headband with an ornamental beading. Perfect to hug your ears on cold autumn or winter days.
It is knitted flat (back and forth) and the pattern stitch is easy to memorize. It consists of a clever combination of knitted and slipped stitches and the result is a neat and double layered non-curling stockinette on both sides of the fabric.
The pattern is available in English. It provides row-by-row instructions, a pattern chart and a photo tutorial how to add the beads and how to sew the headband together.

SIZES
All Adult Sizes
The height of the finished headband is approx. 12cm/4.7`. The circumference depends on your individual size. This pattern can be easily customized to fit all adult sizes. Instructions in the pattern describe how to do it.

YARN & YARDAGE 

Up to 170m/185 yards of DK weight yarn (exact yardage depends on your head circumference)

MATERIAL

• 3.5mm/US4 needles
• 1mm crochet hook to add beads
• up to 150 beads in a size appropriate for knitting with DK (material and color is your choice) For the sample I used glass beads with a diameter of approx. 5.5mm-6mm, the diameter of the inner hole is approx. 1.4mm. This should be approximately the same size like size 5/0 - 6/0 beads.
